Our Method
A short account of how this guide is written: the categories we use, what we leave out, where photographs come from, and why listing links matter.
01
The categories every entry is read through: arrival, rooms, dining, public space, surroundings
Every property in Getaway Breeze Lounge is described along the same five lines: arrival, rooms, dining, public space and surroundings. Arrival covers how the building meets the visitor — driveway, lobby scale, the first few metres after the door. Rooms cover the private half of the stay: quiet, light and how the floors feel once you leave the public core.
Dining looks at how meals sit in relation to the rooms — whether they feel woven into the stay or parked off to one side. Public space covers lobbies, lounges and shared circulation. Surroundings close the loop: waterfront, countryside, downtown streets or mountain edges, and what those contexts do to the evening.
Using the same five lenses keeps comparison honest. A landmark façade and a countryside resort are different places, yet both can be read for how arrival, rooms and dining actually work together. The structure is the method; the prose is only the surface.
We do not invent amenities to fill a category. If a setting tag or public fact does not support a claim, that claim stays off the page. Incomplete is better than decorative fiction.
02
Why the entries carry no prices, no availability and no star-ranking of our own
Rates move. Packages appear and vanish. A page that pretends to hold current availability would be either stale or transactional, and this guide is neither. We describe places; operators and listing platforms handle what changes by the hour.
Star classes shown beside an entry are the classes already attached to that property in public listings. They are labels for orientation, not scores we award after a visit. We do not publish a parallel ranking, a “best of” list or a numerical review of our own.
Leaving prices out is also a clarity choice. Currency symbols and “from” language pull the eye toward a deal frame. Our readers come for structure and place, not for a simulated storefront. If you need a figure or a calendar, the official listing is where that conversation belongs.
The same rule covers invented urgency. You will not find countdowns, limited-room banners or language that implies a room is held for you here. Nothing on this site is a booking path.
03
Where the photography comes from and what it does and does not show
Photographs on this site illustrate the entry they sit beside. They show massing, light and landscape at a particular moment. They are not a guarantee of any specific room layout, finish or facility condition on the day you arrive.
We do not treat images as a substitute for the written method. A handsome façade does not override a careful reading of surroundings or public space. Conversely, a quieter photograph does not mean a weaker stay — it may simply show a different angle of the same campus.
Images are never used as empty panels or decorative colour blocks. If a section has no photograph assigned in our inventory, it is built from type, spacing and rules alone. That restraint is deliberate: a fake image slot reads as a broken page.
Alt text names the property and place in plain language. It never carries rates, review scores or promotional claims. The picture supports the entry; it does not sell it.
04
How to use the listing links, and why the official listing page is always the authority
Each catalog card ends with a single outbound control labelled “View Property Details.” That control opens the official listing page supplied for that venue. It is the only kind of link that leaves this site, apart from the contact email.
Follow that link when you want current house rules, room types as the operator presents them, or anything that depends on the date of travel. Those pages are maintained by third parties. We neither control nor mirror their content.
If something on our page and something on the listing disagree, trust the listing. Properties renovate, rename dining rooms and revise policies without notice. Our role is orientation; theirs is the live record.
For questions about how we wrote an entry — a correction of fact, a missing context — use the Contact Desk. For questions about a stay itself, speak to the property or the listing platform directly.
